Pirms rudens skolēnu brīvlaika ģimnāzisti piedalījās izglītojošā lekcijā “Modes un mākslas evolūcija”, kuru vadīja mūziķes Patriša un Kato. Skolēni tika aicināti iepazīt modi, mūziku, dzeju caur dažādiem laikmetiem, kā arī, piedaloties interaktīvā spēlē, iepazīt latviešu dizainerus, skatuves tērpus, tautas tērpu elementus un apgūt apģērba etiķeti. Programmā iekļauti visiem zināmi un iemīļoti skaņdarbi no dažādiem žanriem un laikmetiem. Koncertlekcijas muzikālo vēstījumu papildināja vēsturiski foto un video fragmenti.
11.D klases skolēni savas atsauksmes rakstīja kā latviešu valodā, tā arī angļu valodā, jo tematiski pasākums atbilda arī angļu valodas priekšmeta konkrētai tematikai:
Es biju pasākumā par modi un mūziku, un vēlētos izteikt savu viedokli par to.
Man patika tas, ka pasākuma vadītāji paši dziedāja dziesmas, kas bija ļoti labi, jo viņu vokālās prasmes bija augstā līmenī. Man ne ļoti patika tas, ka modes vēsturei bija veltīts ne tik daudz laika, cik es paredzēju, jo daudz laika aizņēma dziedāšana, kā arī nebija īpaši svarīgas vai unikālas informācijas par modi.
Kopumā pasākums nebija slikts, man patika, bet, manuprāt, nebija īpaši daudz informācijas.

Manuprāt, vislabākais moments pasākumā bija, kur mani klases biedri – Leons un Unda, cīnījās, kurš nosauks vairāk Latvijas tautas tērpu daļas, tomēr nepatīkams bija, ka ļoti bija skaļa mūzika, tāpēc slikti dzirdēja dziedātājus.

Thought that this event was really useless and no one really learned anything from it. It was pretty boring and too loud I was sitting in my headphones whole time because my ear drums would burst if I wouldn’t have did it. The only thing that I liked about it was the fact that we didnt need to go to French lesson and instead we were there.

Pēc garas skolas dienas pasākums “Modes un mūzikas evolūcija” bija ļoti patīkams dienas noslēgums. Pirmkārt, mums bija iespēja dzīvajā redzēt divas talantīgas dziedātājas Patrishu un Katō, un visiem zināms, ka mūzika spēj lielisku uzlabot pašsajūtu. Otrkārt, mēs uzzinājām interesantus faktus par vēsturi, kā arī savas zināšanas pārbaudījām. Un visbeidzot, pasākums ļāva satuvināties ar klasesbiedriem un draugiem, dejojot vienas mūzikas ritmā. Iniciatīvas “Latvijas Skolas soma” ikkatrs pasākums, kas tiek piedāvāts, izraisa interesi klausīties un izglītot sevi. Mūzika un mode – lietas, kas attīstās ik dienu. Dziedātājas Patrisha un Kato spēja ieinteresēt un interesanti pasniegt gan vēsturi, gan mūsdienu pasauli, gan attīstības procesu. Personīgi man ļoti patika, cik aktīvās bija dziedātājas un viņu vokālās dotības. Dziesmu izpilde bija labā līmenī. Nobeigumā aktivitāte patika visvairāk.

Manuprāt, šis pasākums bija izzinošs un interesants. Esmu uzzinājusi vairāk par vēstures tendencēm modē un mūzikā, kuras izcili izskaidroja Kato un Patrisha. Bija ļoti radoša pieeja, kā sniegt informāciju. Iekļāva gan mūzikas pavadījumu, gan vizuālo izskatu (prezentācijas), gan arī materiālo informāciju (apģērbs, cepure). Iepriecināja arī tas, ka tika iekļautas latviešu dziesmas. Kā arī uzdevums par latviešu tautastērpu bija ļoti svarīgs, lai ieinteresētu skolēnus. Kopumā pasākums bija radošs, spilgts un muzikāls.

Man ļoti patika lekcija, jo tās tēma bija interesanta un tika prezentēta ļoti aizraujošā veidā. Patika arī tas, ka tika iesaistīta dziedāšana, jo tas padarīja pasākumu jaukāku, taču mana mīļāka pasākuma daļa bija tas, kad Leons uzvarēja popkornu!

Pasākums man patika, bija interesanti un neordināri. Bija jauki, jo viņi dziedāja mums priekšā, nevis radīja to video. Arī bija interesanti fakti par modi un modes izgudrojumiem Latvijā un ārzemēs.

Šis pasākums bija ļoti interesants. Pastāstīja par modes vēsturi, bija daudz jaunas un derīgas informācijas. Man patika, ka bija aktivitāte, kur mans klasesbiedrs dabūja balvu. Bija patīkami dzirdēt daudz klipus ar pazīstamajām dziesmām.

To my mind, this performance about fashion and music evolution was quite interesting and I personally enjoyed it because I found out about different music styles, like rock-‘n’-roll, heavy metal and pop music. However, those styles are not of my music taste because I more prefer the German rock, which called ‘Industrial metal’. Anyway, those two girls, Patricia’s and Kito’s, singing was unexpectedly amazing! One thing that, to my mind, wasn’t ideal, is a fashion styles and ethics description. I think, it would be great to explain the history of fashion styles, the differences between them and something else in this case.

In my opinion, this event was very useful to teenagers who are interested in fashion and music. For me, I do not like performances of these type, but I will not say that it was boring! Absolutely not! I learned more about such styles of music as rock and roll, which were born in the 50s. The most exciting thing was that we could touch a famous Latvian designer Kasher’s hat. The leaders of this event were singers Patricia and Kato. I will not say that I want to visit the similar fashion and music event again, but sometimes that is very useful.

It is very positive that different types of events take place at school. Fashion is not a topic I’m very familiar with, but it was very interesting to learn about it through music. Patricia and Kato are very positive and nice girls, they tried to introduce us to the fashion of different years. We were able to see and touch a popular designer hat that belongs to Patricia, which is fantastic, because when you see and touch the objects, you remember the designer’s work for a long time. I can always say that I really enjoyed this event, I will be happy to listen to the girls’ songs in the future and I will be happy to meet them again.

Today in school an event called “revolution of fashion and music” was held by two beautiful girls Patriša and Kitō. There was a very beautiful performance of the songs, I especially liked the song that the Patriša sang, the original of this song is performed by Billy Eilish. It was also interesting to feel the hat of the famous designer Kasher Blums Blumanis. It was also unusual that an improvised mini-game took place when two participants named the components of the folk costume in turn and the prize was a large bucket of popcorn. In general, I liked the event because it is something unusual, we heard stories from the life of girls, and their wonderful vocals, interesting facts from the world of mall and music.

I think, that this performance about the evolution of fashion and music was very modern and that is interesting for young people to listen something like this, because in this type of performance can be useful information. I liked this presentation because of modern things, useful information and some activities. Girls Patriša and Katō was very attractive and funny. I liked that they mentioned my favorite genre of music- phonk, because not a lot of people know about it, especially do not talk about it. At school there can be more events like this, because they dilute hard school process.

Our school was visited Katō and Patrša. The girls introduce us the presentation about evolution of fashion and music. It begins with fascinating performance of Katō own song “Es tā jūtos”. They were talking about that music was appeared 50,000 years ago. Over time people invited new different genres, for instance, pop, jazz, hard rock, rock-n-roll. Likewise the public was told about fashion etiquette. For example, in offices, people must wear suits, both women and men. This is called unisex – when, regardless of gender, they wear the same clothes. Two from the crowd were called to participate in the competition. The idea was to name the elements of folk clothing. There was a kind and cheerful atmosphere in the hall. At the end the students applauded.

I found this show about the evolution of fashion and music quite fascinating, mainly because of the songs. Patricia and Kato successfully presented the information and sang wonderful compositions. I learnt new information about the genres of music – rock and jazz. I really enjoyed the flow of the show as the information was presented between songs of different styles, reflecting both the style itself and the era in which the style originated. What I liked most was the very last song, “Bēdu, manu lielu bēdu”, which was mixed with another Latvian composition. I would like to see more events like this at school.

I liked the event, for myself I learned that Latvia participated in making clothes, Latvia has fashion designers like a Sanda Feldberga. I found out that our designers made garments for world celebrities and take part at clothing exhibition as models. We were told about different music styles, and also heard them. The presentation shown by Patricia and Kato was about the evolution of music and style.
Interesting information about history of music like rock and roll, pop music, boogie boogie, jazz and style kinds was diluted by examples of shown music styles. I have learnt about old fashion, about etiquette and a lot more. This event was refreshing, gave us possibility to learn something completely new. Even if crowd was pretty lame, it’s was fun and new opportunity for our school. Hope we would get more opportunities about learning new stuff, that wont be in school program.

Today Patrisha and Katō presented evolution of music and fashion. Also they sang songs of different genres, for example, jazz and rock and roll. I really liked this presentation because I could learn about evolution of fashion and different designers, for example, Kašers who designed Beyoncé’s hat. The part of presentation that I liked the most were songs that they sang because both singers have very enjoyable voices. I think that this presentation was a great thing for all the students that attended it because we could take a break from studying and enjoy something that we don’t see every day.

Today I saw event that was led in our school. It was about evolution of music and style. This event was hosted by Patrisha and Kato. They told us about difference between smoking and costume. Also girls let us touch the hat from famous designer. At the end of every part of information, that was not boring, they sang thematic songs that were connected to information that was told earlier by them. In my opinion entertaining events like this let us gain interesting and useful experience that can increase our mood and provide us with new information. I was satisfied by this event.

After this incredible performance I am absolutely happy that I attended this event because there me and my classmates gathered new information about evolution of music and fashion. We learned about clothing labels used nowadays, swimming suits used back in the day, with what designers did Patriša and Kato cooperate, we also got the chance to touch the hat that the singers brought with them, there also was a competition in which 2 people had to name all of the clothes used in traditional Latvian costume. As well we enjoyed live performance from these singers and I learned more about popular music types like Jazz and pop.
